Every light has it’s shadow. If you took the time to delve in the Defense Against the Real Dark Arts Series, then you will see that there are some people out there that many like to term evil. Good/Evil are subjective and in the eyes of the beholder. What one considers good may be consider evil by another.” There are no evil gestures, symbols, numbers, or even people. If we take that approach, then soon something as simple as waving to someone could be deemed evil and we cannot limit our expression in this manner, that is, not if we truly want to be free.” This is why the first and most important lesson of all is forgiveness. I am in no way religious, I do consider myself spiritual, and the difference between the two is that one can be used as a means of control the other is inherently free. I do like certain phrases that have certain value, whatever value it is placed upon them. So I’d like to say “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” and hopefully that isn’t out of context. Every their own justifications for why they do what they do. Remember those old phrases, well there is a lot of value in them. “You reap what you sow.” Battles of the body beget more bodies, battle of the mind beget fissured minds and division of society, we have seen plenty of those. So let us choose carefully what we sow and sow in the light if we wish, but not be blind or pretend that fields of darkness don’t exist. You can pretend your shadow is not there but it will still be there and follow you, until you acknowledge it and shine your light upon it.
Healing Art: The remedy, or at least one remedy, to manipulation of consciousness is awareness and forgiveness. Awareness will keep you from being manipulated and forgiveness will diminish and not perpetuate from a different side (hate is still hate) the energy you are trying to relieve.
How compassion are you, can you muster unconditional love, even if only on occasion?
Do you want to carry an undesirable past in to the present with you?
Is it out of love?
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only Light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence,
toughness multiplies toughness in a descending
spiral of destruction…
The chain reaction of evil – hate begetting hate,
wars producing more wars – must be broken,
or we shall be plunged into the darkness… of annihilation.”
